Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is the roles she played in the film Cowboys & Aliens. The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful, The Great and Powerful, Is Where I Leave You. Amantha Holden plays her current part as a character in Rectify which airs on Sundance Channel. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. Her fame was boosted by her roles in the drama series Rectify. She hails from Gulf Breeze in Florida. She began her acting career on the soap-opera All My Children. It was for her outstanding performance that she won the Soap Opera Digest Award. Following that she mostly played guest parts on various television shows. In the series Hawthorne the actress was widely praised for playing Dr. Erin Jameson. Her beautiful appearance and extraordinary acting talents led to her gaining a loyal fan base. Her first film appearance came in 20 and was playing a role in the film Campfire Stones. She has also appeared as a character in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks and other films. In the film Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless.
